Driver seriously injured in Hwy. 15 rollover

A 63-year-old driver from Carleton Place sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 15, just south of Bush Road, between Smiths Falls and Kingston.

The incident occurred on December 15, shortly after 9:00 a.m. Emergency responders transported the driver to the hospital, while a 26-year-old passenger from Carleton Place was assessed on scene for minor injuries. The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) closed a portion of the highway for several hours to conduct an investigation, which is ongoing to determine the cause of the rollover.
